Our professional guides emphasize hands-on learning, team-building, trust, safety skills, fitness, and environmental education. Our climbing courses offer something for everyone; the basics for the beginner to advanced programs for experienced climbers. Our courses are designed for those seeking high adventure! Whatever your skill level, Rock-About can help you reach your vertical goals!

Rock-About, educates all of their clients about the physical and cultural geography of the places that they teach rock climbing. We also explain the negative ecological impacts humans can have on the park, and the Leave No Trace ethics we can all follow to help conserve the park’s natural resources. Rock-About is a proud supporter of Friends of Enchanted Rock, and our guides have volunteered at Enchanted Rock’ SNA monthly trail work weekend since it’s founding.

First, you must call or email Rock-About to discuss specifics for an Adventure course and your current climbing skill level.

Registration and payment confirmation for adventures, must be made before 2 weeks before the class date.

If you register online you must pay the required course deposit one week in advance of class date to confirm your class. If you want to register for a class within 48 hours of class time. Please contact Rock-About by phone.

72 hour cancellation notice required for refund of deposit. Rain outs will be called by Rock-About guides the day of the class. If class is canceled, fees will be refunded or held for a rain check.

It is the participant’ s responsibility to arrange any overnight accommodations/camping and pay any applicable park fees before meeting Rock-About staff at the location designated in your confirmed registration.

Graduates of our Climbing Programs receive discounts on adventures to the Pecos River and Mexico.
