Rick Watson has taught thousands of people to rock climb, whether Boy Scouts of America seeking a merit badge, private advanced instruction, or self rescue classes. He believes his classrooms are the most beautiful in Texas, and makes enjoying the environment an integral part of his instruction. Rick is a field tested American Mountain Guides Association Top Rope Site Manager and an Enchanted Rock Certified Lead Guide.

- Chris “Birddog” Keistler
Chris “Bird Dog” Keistler has guided more people on a continuing basis at Enchanted Rock SNA than anyone around. He has guided at Enchanted Rock SNA since 1990 with 1000s of satisfied clients. He is a field tested American Mountain Guides Association Top Rope Site Manager and an Enchanted Rock Certified Lead Guide.

- Alvino Pon
Alvino started rock climbing in 1988 in North Carolina. Eventually he ended up with over 1000 pitches bolted, a couple hundred first ascents, and had climbed and bolted in every major climbing area in the U.S. If you want to learn how to bolt on lead or rap, Alvino is the man and probably one of the most experienced climbers you will ever meet!!!

- Carlos Garza
Carlos started climbing in 2000 and was hooked after sending his first bouldering problem in borrowed shoes. He fell in with a group of semi pro climbers and explored and conquered most of the bouldering problems and high ball free climbs in the little known Red Bluff climbing area east of San Antonio. His smooth style and grim determination caught the attention of some of the regions best climbers and he was featured in Joe Sulak’s Guide to Climbing Red Bluff.

- Adam Mitchell
Adam grew up in northest Texas on a farm. Raising cattle, chickens, and horses always drew him to adventurous things. As his rodeo career, riding bareback horses and bulls, came to an end due to a dreadful leg injury he attended St. Edward’s University where he obtained a BA in Communication Studies.
Not having the rush an adrenaline junky needs he wondered aimlessly untilhe found the thrill of rock climbing by chance.

- Landry McKee
Landry Mckee was born in El Paso, TX where he first learned to climb and hike in the Franklin Mountains and Hueco Tanks State Park. His well rounded knowledge in sports, coaching, and the outdoors has proven to be a worthy addition to the Rock-About staff just as his dedication to hard work, high energy level, and ability to keep everyone entertained!
Brian Wann’s , “B-Wann” has guided professionally for over 15 years and is a past member of the American Mountain Guide Association, a certified AMGA Top Rope Site Manager and a Certified Wilderness Outdoor First Responder (WOFR). As lead guide and director of a local high school’s outdoor program, Brian has gained extensive experience working with youth of all experience levels. When not climbing on the gnarly stuff, Brian is an elementary school teacher and father.

- Carl Fabre
Carl Fabre is a Certified Interpretive Guide, and a member of the National Association for Interpretation. A sixth generation Texan, Carl has camped, hiked, backpacked, climbed, and photographed at Enchanted Rock for over 39 years since 1972. His mom was actually at the grand opening of Enchanted Rock to tourism in 1929, when someone drove a Pontiac to the top!
