301: Anchors Class

Excellent hands-on experience for developing the skills to set your own top ropes. On Saturday, we show you how to set superb anchors using natural protection as well as fixed anchors. On Sunday, we concentrate on advanced climbing techniques up to 5.10.  In our outdoor “classrooms” we cover face climbing, overhangs, chimneys, cracks, natural protection and sport climbing.  For those who want to progress on their own, our anchors course offers hands-on practice setting anchor systems with natural, traditional, and fixed protection.

Prices: 2 days = $275/person;    1 day = $150/person

3-6 people are needed to form this course. You can form your own course or join a course on our registration page and calendar.

50% total course fee required as deposit to confirm class. 48 hour cancellation notice required for refund of deposit. Rain outs will be called by Rock-About guides the day of the class.  If class is canceled, fees will be refunded or held for a rain check.
