401: Advanced Climbing

The essential stepping-stone to adventures in Mexico and the Pecos!

This class is for those who have graduated from Climbing 301 or those with sufficient belay and climbing skills who want to learn to Lead Climb and excel at multi-pitch climbs. Emphasis is placed on safety skills, multi-pitch rope maintenance, anchors, rappelling from your own top rope anchors, pseudo-lead climbing, as well as mentally and physically challenging climbing techniques up to 5.11.

Prices: 2 days = $275/person;    1 day = $150/person

3-6 people are needed to form this course. You can form your own course or join a course on our registration page and calendar.

50% total course fee required as deposit to confirm class. 48 hour cancellation notice required for refund of deposit. Rain outs will be called by Rock-About guides the day of the class.  If class is canceled, fees will be refunded or held fora rain check.
