Rock-About Texas

Rock-About loves its roots as a Texas climbing company.  Since it’s beginning in 2001 we have striven to show people why we have so much to offer climbing in Texas.  Enchanted Rock being the all star of Texas traditional climbing is where we have taught thousands of people to climb on its slabby slopes.  This exfoliating batholith gives way to some of the best cracks, slabs, and boulders in the nation.  Austin Limestone attractions, such as, Reimer’s Ranch, Pecos River Gorge, and the Austin Greenbelt gives us the acrobatic rock climbing that much of Texas is known.  Long reachy jug-hauls to crimpy mayhem that would rip a flapper in the strongest of skin, these cliffs have enough fun climbing to keep us busy for a long time.  Bouldering in Hueco Tanks SP, McKinney Falls SP, and Rogers Park is some of the most quality bouldering in this hemisphere and you can look at art while climbing.  There is good reason to be proud of the climbing we offer and are near.  Taking people on these Austin area tours keeps us motivated for the future.  Texas is big and her climbing is spectacular.
