Rock-About's Kids Rock Climbing Camp is designed for ages 9 and up. The five-day outdoor adventure includes climbing at Austin Greenbelt and Reimers Ranch, building skills progressively through the week.

Absolutely. Rock-About's AMGA-certified guides are trained to work specifically with young climbers. We maintain strict safety protocols, small group sizes, and use professional-grade equipment. Our perfect safety record since 2001 speaks for itself.

Comfortable athletic clothing, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, hat, water bottle, packed lunch and snacks. Rock-About provides all climbing gear—harnesses, helmets, shoes, and ropes. A backpack to carry personal items on the trail is recommended.

No experience needed! Our camp is designed to take complete beginners from their first climb to confident, independent top-rope climbers by Friday. Experienced young climbers will also be challenged with harder routes and advanced skills.

We keep groups small to ensure personalized attention and safety. Your child won't be lost in a crowd—our instructor-to-camper ratio ensures everyone gets quality instruction and plenty of climbing time.

Cancellation/Reschedule policy: our camps require a 30 day notice for cancellation to receive a refund or reschedule. After 30 days before camp the only way to revive a refund is if you’re able to replace the spot having been held by your registration.
