Enchanted Rock has a rich amazing history from its geological inception, to natives honoring the mystical nature of the domes, to modern rock climbers scaling the steeps. This hike isn’t just walking hard to the top. It’s an interpretation of the Magic that makes this area so wonderful.

An introduction to rock climbing for anyone who wants to experience a safe vertical adventure. This class embraces all levels and focuses on a fulfilling day of climbing.

In our traditional climbing course, we teach techniques from the American Mountain Guides Association. These techniques include passive and active gear placement, knots and hitches used in climbing, how to lead a traditional climbing tour, rappelling, and more. We also offer an optional second day, where you’ll learn more about anchor construction, gear placement, and crack climbing.

If you ever look longingly at higher altitudes, our multi-pitch climbing course is for you. Our rock guides will instruct you in everything you need to know to safely complete multi-pitch climbing courses, including rope management, belaying from above, belay transitions, climbing to rappel transitions, and multipitch rappelling.
